Autodesk at SuiteWorld Conference
Here's a quick recap of our appearance at NetSuite’s SuiteWorld conference last week. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth. Many asked why Autodesk would appear at an ERP conference? We were happy to explain that Autodesk does a lot more than AutoCAD these days, helping people both inside and outside Engineering to solve their product development challenges.
Autodesk has been sponsoring the event for the past few years, where we've focused on PLM 360 and its integration with NetSuite ERP. This year was special for a couple of reasons. To begin with we have a couple of new products in our portfolio that we showcased at SuiteWorld, including our new CPQ and IoT software. If you haven’t heard about some of our newest solutions yet, Autodesk Configure One is our new Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) software, which also integrates brilliantly with NetSuite ERP. Our new Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solution is Fusion Connect (formerly known as SeeControl.)
Which leads us to the other thing that made this year’s SuiteWorld appearance so special. PLM 360 has a new name! We’re now Fusion Lifecycle. We made the announcement at SuiteWorld that Fusion Lifecycle and Fusion Connect are joining the Autodesk Fusion product innovation platform. Our goal is to help companies adapt to the rapidly changing manufacturing environment. So, we're uniting the entire development process to and making enterprise solutions available and affordable to companies of any size. If you’d like to learn more, read the announcement or watch the video above.
In summary, we offered up a big helping of PLM, CPQ, & IoT with a side of ERP, which made for a delicious bowl of Acronym Soup. In fact, the conference was so special this year, Ozzy even came out of hiding to enjoy it!
